  Results of the meeting:

  1. Qualification/Newcomer Nations at World or Continental Championship:

  2. To participate at World or Continental Championships level teams must have reached in the general team classification in a Regional Championship before:

    men 19.000 pts
    female 13.350 pts

    or each individual athlete

    men 4750 pts
    female 4450 pts

    This regulation will be applied as from 1/1/2001.
     

  3. Rifle calibre:

  4. PTC will start an examination process with regard to shift gradually from big bore standard rifle calibre to small bore rifles.
    The examination shall cover cost savings (especially ammunition), safety, import-export-transfer aspects, easier training possibilities, promotion MilPent for junior athletes, use of electronic equipment.
     
  5. Equivalence table points:

  6. The present situation is unsatisfactorily. Differences in performances are not mirrored by results in points.

    Basic assumptions for future work:

  • all 5 disciplines shall have the same impact on the overall result 
  • a linear point system is the absolute prerequisite for the handicap start method for cross 
  • for all 5 disciplines the same point system shall be applied (linear system) 
  • a differentiation in the performance shall be reflected in differentiation of points
          A preliminary study has been elaborated, a proposal will be developed by PTC.
  1. Ranking lists:

  2. The system will be changed in such a way that after each competition that will be taken into account for the ranking lists (results of ranking tournaments) a new list will be issued, containing the best result of the current competition season.
     
  3. Measures in case of incorrect crossing of obstacles:

  4. Depending on the severity of the case in question and the specifities of the discipline the organiser will take action in consultation with the respectively the Technical Jury (disqualification, penalty of 20 sec., restart) 
  5. Starting procedure for throwing:

  6. The procedure will be analogue to the starting procedure in shooting (centralised)
  1. Obstacle Relay:

  2. This competition will definitely be a fully recognised event of MilPent incl. world records, medals. Starting is not obligatory.

  2. Further study will be made to the feasibility of giving each sportsman-woman a life long unique identification number (indicating name, country....)

    In case the 3rd Mil World Games will not be organised or if MilPent would not be included, back up must be ensured for 2003. PTC will try to receive options
